I wish it wasn't true but after reading some quotes from the DJ Whoo Kid interview, its pretty clear Floyd has and feels no need to fight Manny.
In his recent radio interview Floyd says, "Being 41-0, then how can only one opponent count?" Seems that Floyd believes his resume is strong enough to cement his postion as the best boxer now and of this era. While P4P lists have another name at #1 and awards have been given to another fighter for Boxer of the decade, Floyd feels no need to prove that he is actually the best boxer fighting today.
He feels negativity towards him have diminished his accomplishments and his standing among the general public. One person who agrees with this is his fiance, who stated, "But he gets dogged out on ESPN and they say he's not the best fighter in the world....then who is better than Floyd?"
Well, a lot of people think Manny is, and that's the whole reason why this fight should of taken place already. But from the looks of it, niether Floyd, his future wife or fans,(*****s) want to see if he really is best boxer in the game.
They seem content in their belief that he is the best without actually having to prove it.
