      please explain.
easy. you just make him fight at 150 instead of 147.

You can't. If anything it will work to Marg's advantage since he'll have 3-4 less lbs he has to cut. He came into camp at 160, is already near the CW limit, and his trainer thinks he will rehydrate 12 lbs on the day of the fight.

Honestly, I don't think Roach or Pac care about a CW, it's all Koncz (who wanted a CW for Clottey as well). If Pac fights again at 154, say against Cotto, it will be at the full limit. The usual suspects won't be able to complain about a CW or Pac fighting for a vacant championship so naturally they'll whine about how the fight already happened and Pac is fighting a shot fighter again, despite them claiming the only reason Miguel lost was because he was drained...

And the World keeps on turning

Reminds me of when Morales was praticly beging Paquiao and his team to make that last fight at 135 because he couldn't make the weight anymore and Freddy said hell no! because that was going to be an advantage for morales but yet now Paquiao is fighting for a title at 154.
he said he couldnt make 147..the fights at 149, whats the problem ?

What I don't like is how catchweight is being used especially by Freddie Roach, he has admitted in interviews in the past about "Draining Opponents" and about how Oscar Drained, to mean that cheapen your accomplishments, you want to beat a guy when he is AT HIS BEST, not when he is DRAINED and weak, it feels like catchweights is being abused to COLLECT CHAMPIONSHIPS for CERTAIN FIGHTERS!
I think it has something to do with MANNY STARTING HIS CAREER AT 106.....i mean im no Einstein or anything, dont see Froach doing this with anyother of his fighters, but then again MANNY DID START AT 106 and for him to fight a guy like Tony who has fought at 154, I mean C'MON.............smh. Oscar drained himself in preparation..that was ALL Oscar's fault.... they waited to rehydrate Oscar and Oscar CHOSE MANY.so was Manny suppose to go from 135 to 154 to fight Oscar? lmao...

Do I think the weight will make a big difference? Ehh, not really. Not as much as the fact that he's looked to have slowed quite a bit.
weight won't be an issue with Margo. the problem most have with the catchweight is that the "TITLE BELT" on the line is a jr middleweight belt and the limit for jr middle is 154. i think for a belt either fighter should be able to weigh in anywhere between 147.5 and 154. Margo has no upperhand, but thats not really the issue. the issue is that this is a papertitle that will add to Pac's legacy, pretty similar to the title he earned @135. no one expects Pac to fight the best @ 154 for a title but Arum and co. have found a way to give Manny another belt in another weight class, even though he isn't against a legit contender at the weight. say what you want, Manny deserves it, but without a victory over FLoyd, i don't know what it all really means.
