Martinez although I thought he won the first fight he didn't "DOMINATE" despite the fact that he landed the harder shots, it was a CLOSE FIGHT all the way around

BUT...you will see a huge difference from a guy Preparing for Pavlik for MONTHS then switch up and preparing for Martinez in some WEEKS, Martinez was OPEN when he got the call from Williams camp, he wasn't preparing for any particular fighter but Williams was, the Training and getting in shape is one thing, but implementing a game plan and preparing for certain styles...that is a different aspect, you go from preparing for a SLOW One-Dimensional Kelly Pavlik to a Quick and Slick Martinez I am sure it makes a HUGE difference

with a Full Camp To Prepare For Martinez, I think Williams will benefit the MOST and it will show in the RING...Williams by KO or UD
Martinez was supposed to be taking a tune up fight. So im pretty sure it was harder to go from fighting a nobody to fighting a 6'3 southpaw with a HW reach who throws 100 punches a round.

Lol. Martinez should be like a 3 to 1 favorite over Paul if you look at their last performances. Maybe the odds makers are taking into consideration that HBO are gonna likely have a judge or two in their pockets again like they did in the last fight.

martinez took the fight on short notice while pwill was in training. true pwill was training for someone else, but he was still in shape.

if martinez trains properly, I think he should win by a close margin

Everyone keeps talking about Paul making adjustments, I have never seen him make any adjustments. He got lucky and tagged Quintana early on in the rematch, nothing more. Martinez had less than a month to prepare for that fight and he was the one that made several tactical adjustments in the first fight when the right hooks quit working, he started the straight left leads to the chest and stomach. When those stopped, he started with the left hooks....Martinez's only issue was that he gassed a bit. This time, he will take Paul to school, Paul is scared of Martinez. Paul had never, ever been dropped before and he was all cut up by the end of the first match, he is gonna be even worse this time around. Williams saw how Martinez busted up Pavlik and had HBO not pushed so hard for the rematch, Williams would be fighting a lesser opponent.

Williams makes no adjustments. Simply a volume puncher. We all know this.

No they dont one person in this thread has.

How did they "quit working" sounds like your suggesting PWill made an adjustment.
