Should Vivian Harris still be champ?

Okay, it's a fairly old one, but I watched the Mouser bout again the other day, and - as hilarious as it is - the ten count should have been suspended while Mouser went to a neutral corner. Given that Harris was actually up at ten(ish), then should the fight have gone on?

Who knows, he probably would have gone down again anyway, though for that extraordinary breach Mouser should probably have been DQed anyway, and a lesson learnt to Harris.

I think people - myself included - probably let it go given that no one's a big Harris fan here, and it was as funny as **** seeing him KOed by a windmill-armed girl with no understanding of the science of boxing... but the guy wasn't in a neutral corner before the count of "five" and during that time conducted a shameless foul.

Either way, I guess Harris's rep is gone now. People finally know who he is... and he's a laughing stock.

Vivian Harris is suppose to be in my sig but i couldn't find a good picture of him .....but anyway the only thing i like about Vivian is the way he talks i like guys that are sure of themselves (Oh yeah i'm looking for a Vivian Harris Collection too)i gotta brush up on some past Vivian Harris fights then i'll start throwing my 2 cents in but until then my mouth is shut on him.....unlike other guys who know nothing about the fighters the "claiming" their a fan of a fighter when they know nothing about him

if you are going by the "he was on his feet by the count of 9 or 10" criteria...then the history of boxing changes a lot...

when a fighter gets up before 10, the ref looks in their eyes to see if they are fit to continue...vivica was not fit to continue

Yeah, I agree with a lot of your points... I opened it up for discussion for this reason. I thought it was borderline, he looked reasonably okay to me, but the stillness at the start was worrying...

Its a tough call...he did lose the fight. He was knocked out fair and square. I think Maussa should have been fined for the late hit.
