Comments Thread For: Kell Brook, James DeGale Return on December 11 Show

Rising British welterweight Kell Brook returns on a huge show being put together by promoter Frank Warren on December 11 at the ExCel Arena, Dockland, London. Warren had hoped to get unbeaten Mike Jones as the opponent for Brook in a WBO interim-title fight, with the winner going for Manny Pacquiao's vacant title. Jones elected to remain on the Pacquiao-Margarito undercard on November 13. Brook is waiting for confirmation of his next opponent. Warren will try to make a fight between Brook and Jones in 2011.

Kell Brook has to be the biggest ****ing hype job in the WW division. Over rated Canelo would knock his ass out.

Brits are desperate for a decent boxer to come out of the UK

Degale/Smith would be good. I think 'Chunky' needs polishing off a little, but Smith is the best a domestic challenge will offer (bar Groves) and it comes with the British 168 title on the line. Failing Smith, then Quigley is always on hand. His only 2 losses are against Nathan Cleverley and Paul Smith, so would be a great indicator for DeGale's positioning on the domestic scene.

Hopefully, after Groves/Toney and DeGales next opponent, the two camps (Degale/Groves) meet up to sort out the fight we all want for 2011.
