Skillwise Pacquiao is light years ahead of Margarito. Physically Margarito is the bigger man, with a huge height advantage, reach, and weight, but he does not have the skills in the tool box to give Pacquiao a hard time (IMO). From the pictures I've seen, and from what i've read Margarito is trainning like there's no tomorrow, and from the looks of it, looks to be great shape early on; so I don't think the weight will be an issue for him.


Margarito come fight night will have all the physical advanatages, but it will not be enough to compete with a guy who's skillset will close the edge on the Physical advanatages that Margarito has. I can easily see Margarito being overwelmed by the handspeed, speed, power, and footwork of Manny, to the point that if he can't gain Manny's respect with his power, he may very well get flaten inside of 7 rd's. This guy for me just doesn't have the defense, lousy footwork, doesn't place his punchs well, is stationary, is very easy to counter off of, and in general sloppy. A repeat performance of more or less what SSM was able to do to Margarito should be in order (IMO) for Manny.

lol..ok. So after he fought Santos at 154, he dropped down to 146 and fought Lujan....he tko'd Lujan in 10 rds. I guess it was their strategy to dehydrate Margs too...didn't seem to work too well considering he has had over 15 or more fights in the mid 140's.

Pac is a much smaller guy in height and reach, both of them weighing 154 is not going to make any difference to Margs, nor would it help Pac. Margs could still make 154 and rehydrate like 7 more pounds, Pac would not rehydrate any and still have to deal with a 5 inch height disadvantage and a 5 inch or so reach disadvantage. Pac would have a very hard time making 154 in the first place while still maintaining the training regiment required to train for the fight. They should have just fought at 147....both guys would be at weights they are comfortable with anyways

No he didnt pay them all to lose only the 2 biggest who have no career to lose they would do anything for the payday , why do you try to muddy the very clear waters , Foremen was too big and legit title holder , Team Pac said he was too big so they take Arum owned Clottey who is probably bigger than Foreman and Clottey does not try and it stood out like dog balls and he still busted Pac up , now for a vacant title at CW we have Margo another Arum puppet that will not be a threat in this fight because he is not allowed to be , it will show , this fight is a farce .
