could someone explain the story of Jim Rome vs Jim Everett?

Both were from LA and Rome has a talk show there, Rome used to bash Everett constantly calling him out show after show. Then the interview happened.

I never like Jim Rome, he's too narrow minded on his opinion sometimes self absorbed. I rarely listen to his radio show, because when you tuned in he likes to talk about himself or somebody he did not like and he's too fixated when an athlete made a mistake.
