the bigger fighter is not always the better fighter thats why.
some people had marquez ranked p4p #1 even after manny beat oscar because marquez knocked out 2 opponents that seem to be better or atleast better at that point in there career thans oscar and david diaz

its so convenient to downplay the danger posted by DLH, Hatton, Cotto and Clottey before the actual fight took place. or right after PAC disposed them unexpectedly.

Pac is merciful to the 140lbers.

Pac would put all of them to sleep.

They are all around the same size as Pac with less of a punch, less speed, and even less chin.

It would just be too easy for Pac to clean up 140.

At least the Physical differences in the higher weights provides some sort of a challenge.

i didn't say they werent a threat but they were not considered the best competition at the time and i have no problem with manny fightin any of the fighters he is fighting but lets not make it seem like he is fighing the best competition for him, he is fighting the more recognizable fighters.no one thoght ricky was goin to win the fight and everyone expected manny to out work clottey so that was not unexpected,manny was the favorite against cotto but cotto was a legitimate threat to manny and oscar was expected to be too big for manny but manny weighed more than him on fight night but manny was the under dog in that fight so he desrves credit for that but that hatton and clottey fights played out just as expected

pac's frame and built is that of a featherweight or super featherweight.

140 is the best weight for him now but that doesn't mean he's a natural 140 guy.
