winky gets alot of recoginition, he is top 3 on most ppl's p4p list...
as for karmazin...even though hes really only had one big fight, he is a champ, but hes not much of a draw for us fans, so u kinda have a point there.

but sometimes these cats have no personality, no savvy(outside of the ring) and we all know that the public will shun you if you are not personable. Winky was like this, but he is shaping up his image by appearing in commercials, and videos.

Winky Mr. Boring is hyped very much. So I don't agree with Winky. As for Karmazin, he just beat Ouma, so give it some time, Ouma was never all that popular to begin with.

there are two kinds of fighters in this discussion now: those who deserve respect and those who dont. chris the duck byrd doesnt deserve respect.

hes a money-grubber.
hes a fight-dodger.
he hasnt fought or even had a scheduled fight since last year.
he talks trash and doesnt back it up.
he wins by bull**** decisions thanks to don king.
hes feather-fisted.
hes a boring fighter.
nobody gives in to his purse demands cuz he thinks he should get more money than he really deserves.
he gives undeserving fighters undeserving title shots (i.e. oquendo, golota, mccline, possibly williamson).

uh well winky is one thing but karmazin caught ouma on a horrible night when he either over trained or didnt train at all. anyone with any sense knows that wasnt the real ouma cause he throws around 70-85 punches a round and that fight he threw 40-50 and didnt do much at all. he would murder karmazin in a rematch, please dont ever compare winky and karmazin again.

The reason Ouma didnt throw that many punches was because Karmazin was handing him a beat down, Karmazin is decent fighter, your'll see if he goes in with Winky. Ouma was so overated its unreal.
