I dont know why fans make such a big deal of

the day of the fight weight?

a lot of fighters put 10/15lbs compared to their original weight but this doesnt have a major outcome on determing the winner

The extra weight after the official weigh in weight, is not muscle and legit power.

all it is, is extra food and water weight

if a fighter weighed 155lbs and one fighter weighned in 140 on the actual weigh in, it is a lot different compared to that of a day of the fight weight.

that 155 is legit strength and size

How do you know it doesn't have a major effect? Do you have research statistics to back up your asinine claims?

If a guy has 15 pounds on his opponent on fight night, obviously it means he has more weight to put behind his punches.

Your saying the added weight is just added food and water when really its not, because a lot of fighters starve themselves to make a weigh-in a day before the fight because they know they can rehydrate or whatever easily by fight night (theres a limit obviously), it basically means that what they weigh on the day of the fight is roughly there best or most healthy fighting weight.

I don't know why people make so much of the UNOFFICIAL weigh in also.

Hence it is unofficial, there are no rules to the fight night weigh-in.

One fighter could weigh-in with tennis shoes and all his clothes, ***elry and be perceived as a 15 pound bigger while the opponent could strip down to weigh-in.

Who knows what does what. We don't see it and I don't pay much attention to nor do I care about it.

I don't make such big deal since there is no fact about how much they truly weigh on fight night since they don't have to strip to weigh-in.

Not saying people should pay **** loads of attention to it but it is still something to take into account and can easily make a difference.

fight night weights may not make that big of a difference in the fight but sometimes it does but what fight night weights usually do show you is how big someone really is,this is boxing asnd almost everyone has to cut weight but the fight night weights show how big a man really is
