Floyd's brain is obviously mentally undeveloped...he doesnt speak like a fully grown intelligent adult. He lacks the emotional maturity to cope with his actions and lacks the social skills to deal with people who don't say "YES" to everything he says.

boxing doesn't need floyd. boxing needs excititing fights and to figure out a better way to score fights, to make the outcomes far more consistent. boxing fans such as myself enjoy and even root for floyd but he is unfortunately going to learn to not let money dictate your actions. the dude doesn't rep African Americans very well in my opinion. I do think he is a nice guy, just has a lot more to learn, just like the rest of us. oh yeah he has incredible skills but im starting to think more and more that he fears losing. the best fighters had multiple losses.

then you my friend would have not liked Muhammad Ali. I for one respect fighters who never have excuses if they get beat. excuses for not fighting someone is a little different, dozens of boxers i like have them, but only a few actually had a loss for words when they did not win. Dawson had excuses, Hopkins had excuses, Allan Green always has excuses, and im sorry but when Pac lost to Morales he had many excuses. remember the bloodtest and the glove excuses? im sure if Floyd lost he would of had something to say about how he didnt have a good training camp or whatever but he has yet to be in that position.

Taking it for the truth? It was Floyd, himself, sitting there having dinner, with his gold silverware, telling Chili that he was trying to put a ring on her finger (joking or not, he said it). The same Floyd they showed on a couple of dates together with Chili, doing photo shoots, and Chili talking about that they had been dating. I don't know how comparing a REALITY show (media based or not) to wrestling or the national enquirer helps you make your point. The point is that he was on National Television courting a woman during the time he says he was with his fiance. But, yea... I'm sure Ms. Jackson was just sitting back watching that thinking "It's just for ratings".

If you have a chance to look back at the first couple of seasons of Real World way back when MTV still played videos, then do so.

the format was so incredibly different than it is today. It was somewhat boring. Same is true for even Big Brother and Survivor. Why is that? Because they were more truth-based. Suddenly "reality" shows hit it big time and there needed to be more drama introduced to keep things fresh and interesting.

Just look at old episodes to see what I mean. Participants of reality shows are coached as to what they say... at times they are even goated into believing obvious lies that will lead to more drama.

What I'm saying is that a reality show is not a credible source to put your basis on when thinking of reality or truth.
Same as putting your faith in pro wrestling as a prime sport. It is not real as well.
Same as putting faith in the Enquirer for a newspaper source. It is not real, or at least mostly made up or dramatized.

Jersey Shore is the most reality there is, by your argument. We know better, or at least I know better.
