If Wlad is so "soft", why does he have the entire HW division running scared?

Wlad and Vitaly would own any of the boxers they beat in a street fight or in a boxing ring.
Lewis is soft to me in terms of the baddest men in boxing. He is quite well spoken and really has a funny type of talking

    Tyson was hard
    Foreman was hard

I would think Wlad would do OK in a street fight but I would not say he would beat Tyson or Brock Lesnar.

Basically street fighting has no rules, it is no longer a game, a jab won;'t save you from getting taken down and punched in your balls/.

Vitali would do well, he use to kick box too and is aggressive

Im not going to roll out the gif parade here but Wlad seems to have a history of wilting everytime he fights someone with speed/Power above class C.

I find it amusing how he didnt rematch Peter until....

      1. Mccline floored him 3 times.
      2. 24 grueling rounds with Toney
      3. 8 brain crushing rounds with Vitali
      4. Feather fisted eddie chambers beat him up

It took all that and more for Wlad to find the balls to face Peter again. Wlad is the same softy he was from 2003-2005, its just the division is much worse now.

You just love rewriting and putting spin on history, 24 grueling rounds with Toney

Why should he have rematched him at all? He clearly beat him the 1st time, should everyone one have to rematch a fighter who knocked them down?

Wlad is not soft he has the heart of a champion, just look at so called hard Tyson who faced adversity in his career and was pretty much done after that as an elite fighter. Wlad faced some stumbling blocks but came back to become the best in the world and is now the most feared champion in recent memory.

wlad looks good fighting D level boxers that would be off the radar in 90's 80's and especially 70's heavy weight boxing.

Vitali is ok, the only good boxer he fought was lewis...and lost. But he would've won that fight.

Because no one in the division is any good, there is not one world class fighter in the division apart from haye and adamek (obviously vitali), but for wlad as an opponent there is only those 2 guys who can be considered world class and even then both guys are relatively unproven at the weight. They are both small and I would expect wlad to win, but would not be remotely surprised if he got ko'd by either. You don't need immense power to knock wlad out, he does a great job of protecting his chin though (although sometimes illegally in my opinion, patting with left glove).

To put simply wlad is the best of a bad bunch, to his credit he has made himself a legacy...but his fans start comparing him to lennox lewis and overrating his achievements. Let me tell you something...wlad would not have lasted more than 4 rounds against many of the best heavyweights guys like ali, foreman, and more recently tyson, lewis, bowe, and even prime holyfield would stop wlad imo...not that its anything to be ashamed of...I just think many of his fans don't understand where he is in terms of history and don't really understand heavyweight boxing and how poor it is at the moment.

albert snowoski, samuel peter, chris arreola. These guys are like club boxers. Beating them means nothing. The only talent in boxing right now is all in the lighter weight classes.

adamek is nothing special either. He got beat by chad dawson.

Wlad was nothing more than a ragdoll when the division was actually formidable. No one but crazed sister fans buy into this farce of a HW era.

I'm not even sure Wlad is soft. Seems to me he just chose to fight the wrong style of fight for him early in his career. He engaged in slugfests, and wasted tons of energy. It's very evident that his chin and stamina are both suspect. He worked on those two weaknesses, and nobody can touch him.
