I'm so ****ing pissed Cotto ran like a girl in the latter part of the fight. This is the Cotto that kept telling he's stronger and PAC can't take his punch. I mean cmon go out on your shield man. No it's not required. You forget both men fighting up in the ring are human beings, and there are consequences to going out on your shield but you wouldn't understand any of that, you probably haven't taken a punch in your life.

What Cotto did was probably even more damaging to him. He ran and just kept getting tagged repeatedly. One could argue that the consequences there could be even worse than going out on your shield.

Not really because the impact of the punches diminished as Cotto went backward had he stood there and gone out of his shield the impact of the punches would be much worse.

the fight should have stopped in the eight round. but Cotto wanted to finish the fight. he almost did though. Manny did more damage for not stopping the fight.
