Comments Thread For: Paul Williams Tabs Carlos Quintana For Sparring Help

Paul Williams, who on November 20 in Atlantic City will take part in a rematch with Argentina's Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez, is interested in hiring the services of former WBO welterweight champion, Carlos "El Indio" Quintana, who is still the only fighter to Beat Williams as a pro. Not a bad choice, Quintana actually has a very good boxing brain which Williams is going to need against someone like Martinez, Who can Martinez call in for sparring? Chad Dawson?

Sergio Mora would be the perfect Sparring Partner to prepare for Martinez style IMO, Quintana is OK I guess

i like this. Quintana reminds me alot of sergio actually. He just doesnt have that World Champion work ethic and all the little intangibles needed to stay a top guy.
