Im pretty bias on this cause I love Cotto. But, im gonna pick Cotto.
The reason I am such a big fan of Cotto is because his jab I have always tried to throw my own jab as strong and accurate as he does.
But, De la hoya did have a strong jab also and he beat alot of great fighters with it.

Cotto at times had the tendancy to abandon his jab when it served him best early in fights so I would have to DLH by a narrow margin.

DLH's jab was better than Cotto's all around, faster, stronger and more accurate. Cotto has way shorter reach too,the reason it's effective is because Cotto's timing is very good.

De la Hoya had a better jab. Cottos jab is not far behind.
I think Cotto might have better timing.

I love both
But De La Hoya jab is great. Speed and accuracy. Ask Tito!

Both great at the jab but obviously it is DLH. DLH's jab was one of the best. Miguels jab is a thing of beauty as well.
