I don't understand how Mayweather can be suffering forclosures on properties, be so behind on his taxes that promoters have to bail him out and with no visable income due to inactivity and multiple legal problems and attorney fees while losing endorsements well you get the idea...
This might have been from Forbes over a year ago even though digitaljournal.com posted this exact article 4 months ago and alot might have changed.

On the other had outsidethematch.blogspot.com lists Pacquiao as #6 in the world and Mayweather did not even make the top 10.

The Forbes year is different from which ever year you are talking about.Within that year Floyd fought twice beating Mosley and Marquez.Pacquiao fought 3 times but made less money. This shows how different these athletes are.Manny fought Clottey,Cotto etc filled in stadiums but how much did that earn him?Floyd fought in a 16k arena and made tonnes more money.
Someone wants said Floyd's fans are broke, then his differentiation strategy wouldnt work

Bad news for boxing, just hope Floyd still owes around 20m in unpaid taxes and has huge legal fees because if he does not then he will not fight pac.....only if floyd needs big money quick will he step in the ring

Though it is true that Floyd jr did earn much more than Pac, it is also true that it is floyd who is:

                    1) Chased by the IRS for unpaid taxes.
                    2) Had his car repossessed.
                    3) Been sued by his landlord for unpaid rent for one of his businesses.
                    4) COULD NOT PAY HIS TRASH COLLECTOR.

Just as important as how much you earn is HOW MUCH YOU SAVE.

You could earn a billion dollars in a year but that would mean squat if you end up ******** it all away or wasting it.

If floyd jr continues this self-destructive behavior of his, he would most likely end up broke eventually.
