Seems worth a punt. Pascal has youth on his side, and he's pretty mobile so expect Hopkins to look like shit as early as round 8 though.

Tempting to bet on hopkins but i havent watched a full fight of his since Pavlik so dont know if he has got old yet, also as its in Canada Pascal will get the benefit of the doubt in close rounds.

        pascal's got this

hopkins would be a freak of nature if he pulled off the win and he hasnt looked like that in a very long time

I give Hop a good chance because he can take advantage of Pascal's technical flaws and he has many but Pascal at this point is rightfully the favorite.

hopkins as a underdog only means he's coming in highly focused and fully trained to take pascal into deep waters.

hopkins can make mistakes all fight long and still get the win, pascal needs to fight the perfect fight for twelve rounds or else he risks getting stopped and or losing on the cards, especially with his stamina and conditioning.

i don't think he will be able to make it a rough and tough fight to wear hopkins down because pascal likes to wait for the referee to separate him form the opponent vs doing work on the inside, where hopkins likes to do his work and is highly effective on wearing guys down on the inside.

this will not be an outside fight, it's going to be an inside, clinch and smother type fight that will fit into hopkins game plan and grinding pascal down and out.

I made good money on Hopkins outpointing Pavlik and I'll do it again with Pascal.

I certainly wouldn't write Bernard off (ever!) but Pascal's activity may prove to be too much for Bernard at this juncture. That's how Taylor and Calzaghe beat him, with activity. Bernard just doesn't do enough to win rounds sometimes. Can't really say I blame him, he IS very old in boxing terms.

I think B-Hop saw something that he can expose that's why he offered to fight him immediately after the Dawson fight, remember B-Hop studies tape 7 is a boxing knowledge pool!!I think he wins!!
