As do I, Which is why i voted for the third option. My opinion is that if he can still hang with top notch opposition then i will give him the benefit of the doubt, but if he comes back nothing like the fighter he once was then i'd say there must have been something he was doing that he can no longer do that was helping him. But again all that is just speculation, in the end no one will ever know until Marg or his trainer say otherwise.
Did Margarito really cheat? (PIC HEAVY)

the guy is a skinny mofo. he doesnt have big calves or upperbody. also when his hands were loaded he tends to have a closed fist at all times. in the williams mosley and garcia fights he opens his fists alot nd doesnt really pac a punch. weird its usually with black reyes gloves he does this. with the red reyes gloves he ALWAYS had a tight fist. cintron johnson and cotto.Comment

(After Mosley)
Now these pics don't help Tony at all, can any of you hardcore Tony fans explain to me WTF happened to that guys ear? What is that grey thing on his tape? Why did he have to use these pads for Mosley and not anyone else? (To be fair, maybe they knew Mosley had a iron chin and they needed a lil help to try and knock him out, which is still a ***** move, but maybe that is why they used it for Mosley "only") this is why I believe we have to see Tony fight an elite fighter before we can make any serious accusations, now Boxingscene, what do you guys really think?Comment

I did, look at pg 2, but maybe it looks just as bad because Pac re-opened the wounds from the Tony fight?
But I also said he felt them which caused him to ask them to re-wrap them, I would believe if one trainer can catch it by feeling the gloves or wraps another trainer could as well by shaking his hand.
Fair enough, I too have my doubts about him, which is why I would like to see how he does against the top fighters.
Here is another account of what went on before the Mosley fight. I dont think it a simple case of touching or looking at the wraps knowing Margarito was up to no good.
Inspector Guevara testified, “It [the knuckle pad] was a clean new bandage. But within it, in the inner layers of it, was another bandage wrap. It was not as white as a new bandage wrap would be. It was used and it looked almost like it was sweat soaked and that’s what caused it to have the discoloration. It was harder in certain areas than it should be for pure gauze. It was definitely firm and hard. I believe there was a little bit of, it looked like old blood, on it.”

Ts,please explain to me why "I would have to see him against elite fighters 1st before I make an assumption",when it is a fact that his hands had to be rewrapped against Mosley because of the plaster substance that were found in his wraps??Was Mosley elite at the time?Yes he was!!Was there indeed plaster in Margarito's handwraps before the fight & was it caught??Yes it was,so the conclusion is that Margarito is indeed a cheater, period!!Was he caught before??Nope, but he was caught eventually, end tread please, thank U!!Comment

Prior to the hearing, the California State Athletic Commission sent one of the inserts to the Bureau of Forensic Services at the California Department of Justice for testing. The Commission rejected a request by Margarito’s attorney to allow his own expert to analyze the inserts. The lab results were not in before the hearing. On March 19, 2009, the Bureau of Forensic Services forwarded a report to the CSAC that read, “Calcium and sulpher, two elements found in plaster of Paris, were found on the submitted gauze pad using an X-ray fluorescence [XRF] spectrometer. The elements calcium, sulpher, and oxygen are found in plaster of Paris. These three elements are also found in substances other than plaster. Oxygen is not detectable by XRF.”Comment
