agreed, Margarito has a lot to prove, this fight is gonna be intense, but 24/7 usually makes it look even...their producers are genius at what they do.

That's because he has ridiculous speed, quickness, and footwork. Hatton already tried the pressure thing, how'd that work out?

Margarito's best bet is to use his jab more and work on turning with or moving away from Pac's attempts to turn him and land his straight left barrage. Easier said then done, but I guess we'll see. Trying to mug Pacquiao flat-footed sounds like a recipe for disaster and an early night.

But then again we don't know how the weight gain and heavier gloves will affect Pac's speed and power, and Marg's has always had a great chin so maybe he plans on walking through hell to put that pressure on ala the Cotto fight.

well said, however Margarito has the size advantage over Hatton, and power, I wouldn't look too deep into that comparison...I expect Margarito to be his best, he has nothing to lose.

Manny is alwyas going to get hit a bit if the other guy is willing to pay the price, Margarito will pay the price to start with but I think the fight turns uncompetitive before the halfway mark.

I hope it is better than that for those that buy it though, and those watching at parties.

i think tonys gonna deform mannys face..ive yet to see manny pressured or have his body worked...with that said mannys also gonna but margo up with rapid fire combos...i see this being an all out war until manny stops margo round the 8-10 rounds..ive had time to sit and think about it....

This is a crazy fight. Everyone seems to be dogging on this match up but I think it's going to be a damn good scrap, better than pac-cotto and definitely more competitive than pac vs clottey/ricky/oscar/diaz.

the only real ish to dogg it is because
1. neither one deserves a shot at the belt
2. its at a catchweight

but real boxing fans know this is going to be a great war!

Height and reach works for distance fighting, not pressure, especially the hunchback style Margarito employs. If Margarito goes in blindly hoping he can overpower Pacquiao, we'll see how his chin holds up . Man will be befuddled swinging and Pac's wind trail as he turns him and lands 2 straight lefts in a row. The jab is the key for Margarito, not rushing in head first.

And it's 'because' not 'becaues', learn how to spell, and then call other people names herb.
