Roach is starting to get more concerned now and really isn't overlooking them. This is a good thing.

thats not true he tried to against Mosley but Shane shut him down and forced him backwards with his fists. In his last fight, I think he just looked confused regarding what he wanted to do, having a new trainer has to be an odd experience for him.

I think Manny will move in and out, turning and spinning Margarito until he realizes he can't just trudge forward as he has done in the past. Just like against Oscar he will be in and out working different angles with the lead left and when Margarito goes on Offense Manny will be a ghost. Margarito will then try to move a little which will likely not go well again for him. I dont know if Pac can KO him or stop him but I think like Cotto Margs will look like he has been through a meat grinder.

Your telling me, that Clottey and his Ric Flair stumble, that even Lampley called as being faked was fighting to win? Arum has alot to lose if Margarito wins, he can't even fight in reasonable states, he has to go to mexico and the most corrupt state on the planet to even fight. Margarito winning would be a disaster for Arum Top Rank and boxing, no way he will be fighting to win.

Y'all acting like it's beyond possibility that Bob Arum and Texas would stage another "Event" lmao.

To me that really isn't Margarito but maybe that is what he has been working on for the last couple years.

It would be ****** to not utilize his huge reach advantage though (6 inches), even if he can only use it as a change of pace.
Early on and Margarito don't belong in the same sentence. He's a slow starter and has always been a slow starter. He's older and been hit hard by Santos, Williams, Cotto, and Mosley. He's gonna start slower than ever vs Pacquiao. Margarito is finished and he's been finished since after the Mosley fight. If Pacquiao comes in even at 50% he'd beat this Margarito especially at since Margarito is giving up 4lbs since his last fight.

Roach ain't gonna put Pacquiao in there with a guy as big as Margarito unless he's done and there's weight stipulations favoring Pacquiao.

Well the fact that Margarito is a slow starter is kind of all the more reason to try a different approach off the rip.

I don't think Margarito can win but I think he will come out like a house on fire but I think that will be short lived and by the mid point Manny will be bludgeoning Margarito. I would be pretty disapointed in manny if he didn't dominate this Margarito (although after watching the fight I may be more forgiving).

Margarito should still try and play to his advantage though that is the only hope he has.

Bingo! Uncle Arum will make the Worn-ado repay his gratitude for landing the biggest fight wit hthe biggest payday of his career and be a "good loser" like Clottey who's since disappeared from boxing after his glorified sparring match with Manny.

No WAY Arum let's Tony ruin Top Rank's future money making with a match vs Floyd. Especially when there's that vacant 8th belt for Manny and higher leverage vs Floyd. This "fight" with Cheato is a complete sham.

EXACTLY. It's hilarious that people are trying to talk this fight up to be something it's not when we already KNOW what it is and is going to be.

There will be NO negotiating on this one with honest Bob.

That cheater is going to fight like a va-jay-jay without his handwraps. Pacquiao is going to have to chase this guy around the ring.
