Floyd is head to toe strong. It's the kind of strength you can only get from complete all around conditioning, not from just benching a ton or weight training certain muscle-groups.

        No, he wasn't at all.

In fact, Hatton's gameplan was predicated on a perceived strength advantage that never materialized. Both Hatton and Graham admitted afterwards that they'd miscalculated and that Mayweather was stronger than they thought.

Floyd was stronger than Hatton. Which is partly why Hatton couldn't body him up when they were inside.

          I think he is.

Now people will think I'm lying when I say this but I knew Floyd would shock Shane with his power. I didn't expect Floyd to walk Shane down, but I expected Floyd to actually push Shane around in clinches etc.

Reason I'm bringing it up in this thread is to futher bring home why I state he is the strongest WW. People get too caught up in fighters upper body strength (which is a common mistake) when any and everyone who has played other sports knows strength comes from a persons legs.

Floyds lower body strength is better than Shanes and Berto's and if you don't believe me look at their legs. You don't have to see them in the ring to see who is stronger, and if they ever did (Berto vs Floyd) then you will see Berto get bullyied by Floyd as well.

BTW as much as Floyd fans don't want to admit this.....Floyd is coming in 160on fight nights.....not that it matters but that is also apart of his improved strength as a WW. If I had to guess I would say Shane was 155-157 fight night and Floyd was 160 as he clearly had 5lbs on Shane.

So now we know why Floyd needs to 'retire' and 'vacation' so much and why he only fights once a year.

                Side effects of steroid cycles:

                Roid Rage
Roid rage, in many ways, I would characterize as a form of loss of impulse control. It provokes overreactions via a stimulus that normally doesn't produce such a severe reaction.

So say somebody says something to you that you don't like. You may put your fist through a wall. The impulse is there; it's overreaction. Forget the roid, for the moment. It's a rage ... and that rage is precipitated by the brain being exposed to anabolic steroids.

                Baldness
Hormonal changes in the body can cause hair loss in both men and women. Several studies have been conducted that directly relate premature hair loss with the use of steroids. Chemical changes in the male hormone, androgen, and its combination with testosterone produces DHT (dihydrotestosterone, a male hormone). Steroids stimulate an increase of DHT, which can lead to hair loss.

Anybody wonder why Floyd randomly went with the Mr. Clean after having hair his entire career?

So Floyd disappears for long stretches of time, went bald all of a sudden, shows signs of violent aggression/unprovoked attacks and overreactions ie 'roid rage' and then when his 'retirements' are over, he comes back bigger and stronger?

                Hmmmmmm, something isn't right here

The strongest? I don't know but he definitely looked very strong in the Mosley fight.

Shane looked pretty soft in the fight, though.
not to mention we don't know how much the tests leading up to the fight affected him.
