How's the weight issue for the fight?

"Look, in principle we agreed to 151 pounds for the vacant WBC super welterweight title, and that was the agreement, but then it changed. The people of Pacquiao leaned back, and then wanted it to be made at 149, and then I said 'they want the junior middleweight title but the limit of this division is 154.' After discussing it for a bit, we settled on 150."

Would you give up more?

"No, no, no, 150 will be the weight for the fight. We already signed the contract, and that will be weight."

It's like I've been telling everyone since the fight was signed. Nobody is giving Margarito a chance to win just like they did when he fought Cotto and he knocked him out. Wow this is some low down negotiations asking a fighter to fight at 149, then fighting for the jr. middleweight title at 150. No wonder marg looks so thinned out and the fight is a month away. I guess 2 things i gained from reading this interview, 1 no way in hell could marg make the 147 limit again, 2 marg still has the confident inside knowing he's at a disadvantage. Still going to be a good fight but after reading that infact this is at 150lb i don't see how margs can win.
