Alexander, who is being pushed by the IBF to fight mandatory Kaizer Mabuza, will likely drop that title to move forward with Bradley.

do you really believe jones and hopkins ducked calzaghe based on those biased articles written by the british media? in ten years will you believe the klitscko's ducked haye because i've seen a lot of articles written by the british press saying they are so it must be true!. get those links ready cause there's nothing better than revising history.

why is it so hard for some people to accept reality? calzaghe didn't want to challenge himself in any way, shape or form till he fought lacy. he ducked glen johnson twice he was so scared of losing.

Tim gets off in combination better than Devon, and looks to be smarter in the ring. But I don't know if he's as hungry as Devon, and that can be amongst the things that I noted to swing this match in the favor of Devon. This is a dead even match up, ya'll; dont be fooled.
Good post Chief, I think you're right on the button there.

This could be a great fight, a real come-of-age fight for both guys.

        Devon is right in this.

Except I have less doubt than you over Bradley's hunger, or will.

This could be a classic, I can't wait for this fight.

Calzaghe wanted both Jones and Hopkins since 2000, he tried his best to make those fights. Hell even the hbo president recalled events when he thought calzaghe vs Hopkins was made only for hopkins to pull out in the last minute

the fact is those two did not duck calzaghe but they took bigger money fights elsewhere

Did you see the fight? It was one of Witter's most lethargic ever performances. Witter was nothing if not inconsistent (his performance against Judah was equally lethargic), and he was clearly out of sorts and not at all focussed in that fight. And it turned out that his father was rushed into hospital that morning with cancer, which is likely to be a big part of the reason for him not being focussed. Also, he seemed to tense up in his most important fights and fight much more relaxed when there were fewer expectations of him, so it may have been partly due to a basic psychological flaw in his make-up. Whatever the reason, that was not a fully focussed Witter.

Not saying Witter would have won if he'd been fully focussed, but don't pretend he was, when it's completely obvious to anyone who saw the fight that he wasn't. You could say that he should have been highly motivated, but he clearly wasn't.
Junior was his usual awkward self, regardless of what was going on in his life (details of which have been somewhat sketchy). Bradley picked him apart in chess-match fashion, it looked like a domination by the end and the cards were only so close because the fight was in the UK.

And I'm a fan of Witter.

Bradley is marignally better than Khan. Both have different styles.

Khan is the better boxer at a distance, using his jab to break people down and a tighter defense, while Bradley has good close range fighting, speed, body movement and that right hand is viscous, as Khan's jab is.

Bradley and Khan are both top athletes, fast and relatively powerful, but Bradley has the edge because he can potshot too, while Khan can't fight on the inside.

he did not try his best. if he wanted to try his best he should have fought top fighters instead of unranked nobodies. there are 2 ways he could have gotten fights with them. go to their divisions and become a mandatory like morade hakkar did or go to their divisions and become a popular fighter. he did neither and stayed at home unnoticed.

why do you keep falling for promoter hype? according to haye and his promoter they wanted to fight klitschko that doesn't make it true. the truth is warren and calzaghe were more than happy to rake in the easy money while protecting calzaghe with mismatch fights. nearing the end of his career he finally took a challenge to cash out against lacy. his career finally started rolling and he made it to the big stage that he had always wanted to be on. then he suddenly retired without facing the young elites because he was too scared of taking a loss. pathetic!

Hey Rado..I did see the Witter fight but won't lie other then the Judah and Devon fights I have never seen him fight..I did not know anything bout his father either..But I was going by what I saw in the fights between him an both fighters mentioned..Witter everytime I seen him has looked awkward but I just figured it was his style..But you must admit he looked really shot in that fight with Devon, did he not look worst then usual??
