He talks a little smack, but it's usually in response to previous smack talk and it's more of a passive aggresive, "we'll see" type smack talk. This is different. Reminecent of when Pac got outta character because Floyd got under his skin. So I deem it out of character in that fashion. And it's up to Devon to see if he can pull the FMJ jedi mind tricks off as well as Floyd does.

Whats happenin Rome to the KO my homie? I base Devon's hunger off of how hard he and his team chased Tim for this fight. Tim believes he's done enough to warrent a fight with the elite 147lbs'ers, but he hasn't put the kiddies to bed at 140 yet. This shows ambition but not hunger. I mean he even made a money reference in the article talkin bout how he's taking short money, but he's getting the bigger portion of the purse split....... I do however agree with you that Tim has grown as a fighter, but he is right ther to be tagged, and thats because of his come forward nature. I can't agree that Devon has not grown either though. He learned how to effectively fight backwards(See Urango fight), and run over anxious opponents into shots. Tim doesn't rely on the jab to set up his shots, kinda like Shane, he just goes balls to the wall. Devon needs to improve his head movement, but I think part of that is because he's trying to give a crowd pleasing performance and put his nose up in there. It's gonna be a great fight. I think Kotelnik caught Devon slippin. Tim's gonna see a different Devon Alexander.

And I'll put up 50K on Alexander. Whatcha got homie?????

I love all the DOUBT and the hate on Alexander, that will make a win over Bradley even BIGGER and even more impressive since he will likely be the underdog and has a lot of doubters after the Kotelnik fight, I still think the world will see a totally different Alexander against Bradley

regardless I think their styles against each other will make for a GREAT FIGHT because both fighters have no problem standing in and exchanging, the winner of this fight will go on to Unify the titles IMO...NOT AMIR KHAN!

I agree with the statement that the winner will be the 140lb king..But my doubt has nothing to do with the Kottie fight..It comes from watching him in action and hearing his trainer in the corner..

WBO junior welterweight champion Tim Bradley (26-0, 11KOs) verus WBC/IBF champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13KOs) in an HBO-televised unification bout on January 29. Can't wait. It's about time. Now lets get Floyd Mayweather Jr. to fight you know who.
