Its going to be tough on his body at his age. But you have to hand it to Glen. He is willing to fight anyone, anywhere, at any time. "Im not the best, Im just willing to fight the best." But he will probably be very drained at that weight...Im gonna be pissed if he is a zombie in there against Green.

Not many people really seem to like Green. I hope the best for Glen, he's a class act, but he will really be asking a lot of his body to do what he wants it to do over the age of 40.
Even if he does get down, he will have to gut it out the way he had to in the later rounds of the Cloud fight. Good thing Green might be drained as well or it'd be a real problem.
How mad would people get if he knocked out Glen and snuck into the semis?

I would be, it would be a terrible way for him to lose after going so far down in weight and against an opponent who is not that highly regarded and has no real notable wins.
The fight is not really for a title so I wouldn't blame him or be surprised if he doesn't make 168.
At 175 He should be able to press Green to a stoppage but him going down so far is just an unknown in regards to being able to predict so I guess we just have to wait and see what the old man has.
THe other thing is that they are setting themselves up to make this part of the Super Six an even bigger farce. Think about it...They have had problems from day one with ridiculous fighter demands, pull outs, etc etc.
Now, they are getting a 40 year + guy in that hasn't fought at 168 for nearly a decade to fight the hack that ruined the last Six fight. They are setting themselves for a disaster when he can't make weight and either has to pull out. Green won't fight or some other scenario.
There were enough guys at 168 willing to take the shot at Green who would have no problem here and it would be a better, safer option.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is the end of the disaster that has been this elimination contest. Boxing is full of too many divas, too many greedy promoters and fighters that think they call the shots more than they do.
They could have offered it to Pavlik, Bika, Stieglitz, or any of the other guys at 168 that would be willing to take the fight against Green.
I sense disaster with this one though. Whether it happens by Johnson getting blasted out because he killed himself, the fight being cancelled because one of them refused to fight because of the weight....So many possible problems with this that I can't understand how they thought it a good option.
The thing that's worried me is how close the fight is, surely thats handing Green a massive advantage as he's going to be a lot closer to 168.
If he can get down without taking to much out of himself, i expect GJ to slowly break Green down......can't see him getting a stoppage at this weight though.
This is the first thing i thought about when they said he was going to be in the tourney, But even Green is struggling with the weight but i cant even remeber the last time Glen johnson fought at 168.
