Donaire is one of the biggest jokes in boxing.

I think that was a smart move as he didn't want to jeopardize his shot at Montiel. Why tie yourself up in a tourney and miss out on one of the top guys at 118. Smart "business" move by Donaire as he can easily face those guys once the tourney is over.

However, if it was true that guys at 112 or 115 didn't want to fight him. Then do they P-Will route and go up in weight until you find some names. He should of moved up to 118 years ago if that was the case. And, he ballons up 140 in between fights. So he should of been handling 118 years ago. There are plenty of top name fighters at 118 that would of fought him if he would of made his move up years ago. Hell there is 118 elite fighters. That would fight him now with no problem.
There's a lot of talk about Segura moving up to 12 or ever 15.

Is it a sure thing it's at 118?

Sidorenko said that he plans on campaigning at 115....

Donaire fought last the same guy who score a KO this passed weekend. (Everybody is riding high on Tyson)

He didn't only beat him, but He fought as a southpaw most of the fight to create a bigger challenge to himself.
Donaire IMO is the best from 115 to 118 and He is been avoided by the top. I hope some one will step in to the ring with him, hopefully a big fight very soon.
He has fans outside of the Pilipines.
So Perez, Moreno, Montiel don't ring a bell?

With that said....Moreno has went on the road for two of his titles, Germany of all places, so that is one fighter that will not duck Nonito if the fight was offered.

Perez just fought Mares for 50k and is the type of fighter that will go anywhere and fight anyone....regardless of the split. That is another fight that could easily be made.

I mean I can go on....but I will say this; While he may not have been able to get fights with those top Japanese fighters such as the Kameda, Naito etc....there are a bunch of guys that he could face, fights that would be easy to make, that would greatly enhance his legacy.

Not only that but lets say he knocks off Perez and Moreno....that would give him 2 major belts and he could then go for the bigger names. I'm sorry bro but 118 is littered with guys he could face but fortunately for him he is still young and has time to take advantage.
If you look at how Moreno has handled his business he does make Donaire look like a joke

Went on to Sidorenko, Donaire next opponent, backyad and won the title in Germany. And, then gave Sidorenko a rematch and defended that title in Germany again.

Then defended his title on the road again against Monshipour in France.

Then defended his title on the road again against Cermeno in Venezuela.

He is a true fighter. Donaire should take a page out of Moreno book.

And, you right Moreno won't duck him. He would fight him. Hasegawa would had fought Donaire if Nonito would of gone to Bantamweight sooner.

So I don't like hearing about guys ducking Donaire. Nonito as skilled and talented as he is was more than happy fighting mediocre fighters.

Is nonito managed by his wife? If so, then that explains everything. I doubt it's his promotional company as the same thing that is happening at Top Rank, happened at Shaw promotions.

Hopefully he gets a real manager, whoever it is right sucks balls big time, so they can do a better job of managing his career.

I wish it was me because after Montiel, I would go for Mares, Moreno and Perez. If he does that, on top of headlining his own PPV's....I can see Nonito having star potential in the lower weight classes.

Nonito wears the thong in that relationship.

Montiel would be the best fight in between them and I don't see him beating Donaire either. But it will be a great fight.
Donaire is tall and his skills and speed make him the best IMO.
