They are playing Tyson's greatest hits on ESPN Classic. In this fight, Tyson kept coming forward, Reggie went into a possum playing guard position blocking Tyson's puches, then out of no where opened up with like a 15 punch flurry with some landing, but with Tyson's head movement the landed punches were rolled with or grazed him, then Gross lands an uppercut that somewhat lifts Tyson's head back, but again Tyson moved up with it so it was not with full effect, then as you can see in the replay, Tyson quickly plants his feet, sets himself up, and BOOM! one left hook takes him down...
for someone watching that particular fight for the first time, it was exciting...you don't see too many fighters other than Holyfield, Douglas and Danny Williams really open up on Tyson with intensity throughout his career...it was almost as if he got mad at Gross for thinking he could actually win the fight...
man, all of the physical tools (power like Foreman, two fisted bombs like Louis, jab like Liston when he used it, left hook like Frazier, speed like Ali, head movement like Frazier, killer instinct like Dempsey and Marciano)...just lacked the heart and will...
damn what a waste...
