Anyone who would want Amir to win, though, would surely gain more confidence from seeing him finish business at 140 and then navigate a decent welterweight test before stepping to Mayweather...but GBP are obviously looking at a faster, less risky track than that.

Floyd is on the decline. AMir is getting better each fight. I would give Amir a good chance of beating Floyd if he manages to clean up the 140 division.

I don't think GBP can fast track Amir to fight Floyd. He needs to be unified 140 champ first.
