    Why not Canelo against Paulie???

Paulie has stated that he is leaving 140 so why is everyone thinking hes going to fight Ortiz? i guess money could bring him down, but i honestly thought hed be a name on Canelo's resume. It would also give Canelo a look at a pure boxer to see how he does against that style. Paulie has also never been ko'd, as in out cold, so we could still learn even more from Alvarez.

Paulie has been beat by every A list boxer he faced. Soon he'll be getting beat by B listers (Juan Diaz) and then C listers (Matthew Hatton). I think Alvarez can do better.

        Canelo ****s him up...

not a good fight for Paulie...
        Ortiz probably kills him.

He'd be the perfect opponent for Canelo right now.

Alvarez needs to get used to fighting people with some lateral movement and slick boxing skills.

Styles make fights and this would be a clash of styles. I'm not saying this wouldn't be a good matchup, but Canelo is an offensive fighters. I want to see him in there with a ****er, mixing it up. Paulie is more of a slick boxer with little to no power. His problem is that he tries to go toe to toe with these stronger punchers. Makes it exciting, but he ends up on the losing end.

Canelo has a good jab and great timing. This would be a boring match on paper, but I think Canelo would look for the stoppage against Paulie if they fight. Paulie is slick, but he showed his lack of technical skills against Khan were he was getting hit at will with jabs. He doesn't seem to be a type of fighter that adapts and makes adjustments. Canelo would break him down and hopefully knock his ass out

They will probably do that fight in early 2011 on B.A.D. That or Paulie vs Ortiz in the early part of next year.
