Hay has no where near the resume that Lennox Lewis had. There is no comparison. Just about every fighter Lewis fought, outside of his prime, would beat Haye. I think he's been drinking his own kool-aid.
He can never retire 'like Lewis' because Lewis accomplished way more than Haye could dream of. He can retire, yes... he can beat a Klitshcko... hmm, probably not, but let's say mabe against Wlad. But he can never compare himself to Lewis.
I don't understand Haye. He moves up in weight, calls out the K bros relentlessly, and even wears a ridiculous t-shirt. Then when offered a fight he calls it a 'slave contract'! Why not take a 'pay cut' knock em out and make history? You can't pick a fight with someone then back out when they answer, you gotta back up your words. I used to like Haye, but he is such a ***** and I'm sick of his K Bro talk. He is just using there name to make one for himself, its sad and pathetic. He fights heavyweight bums and people watch him because he MIGHT be a threat to Wlad. If he didn't run his mouth so much who would care about him? I think he ran from cruiser to fight bigger bums and avoid real fights like Cloud, Huck, and Cunningham. Sorry David but your biggest fight is still Enzo Mac and he's been blasted out a few times now. Thank you for knocking out Ruiz but he was already beaten a few times and owned by a smaller man(Roy). You ran from Valuev who is slower than molasses. And now your fighting Harrison, a man whose prime is in the past. So please hurry up and fight a Klitschko because your starting to embarrass yourself and anyone who supports you.
What do you mean "still be close to his prime"? Wlad is in his prime.
I have videos of all his fights, and I can see he has physically slowed down a bit. He clearly had faster handspeed a few years ago.
Although he's now past his physical prime - he'll be 35 in March - he's a more intelligent, confident, and overall effective fighter than he was six to ten years ago.
