I had a convo one time with another media guy and we both made the conclusion that fighters that have Tony's relentless style usually have short shelf lives or really drop off the cliff in a hurry after losing badly

perfect example was Pipino Cuevas. After running 147 for years once he got trounced by Hearns he was never the same

      this might be Tony

we'll know for sure after his fight with pac. for now let's give him the benefit of doubt rather than totally disregard his chances. we've seen fighters before with the same style as margarito who had overcome bad losses. the likes of gatti and corrales.

Definitely. I thought he was slipping during the Cotto fight - he looked MUCH slower than the did versus Clottey, or even the 2005 version who fought Lujan.

Pac looks slower and his face looks a lot worse these days too.

Yeah and hasn't lost a round in how long? Has dominated everyone he's faced since 2006/7? Margarito got his **** pushed back by Mosley and looked mediocre against a top 500 fighter.
