Explain to me when I declared Mayweather an "all time great." I must have been drunk or something when I typed this and have forgotten. Or more likely have never written any such thing. Does Mayweather have the potentential to be all time great? A resounding Yes. The only question mark with him is the fact that his chin has never been seriously tested.

I never said you did. You responded to my post ridiculing people who have called him an all time great which made it look like you were arguing the case for it.

Of course he has the potential, but lots of fighters have had the potential and never fulfilled it.

only time will tell if he will be great enough to be considered one of the best of all-time... just look at tyson and roy jones... people were riding their backs when they were winning then suddenly they criticize the player after a disappointing loss... like floyd, people are anticipating his first loss and until that time comes, we will here a lot more "floyd is the greatest of all-time" tags...

My point exactly Some people are already calling him one of the top 5 p4p fighters ever.

            .
How does argueing against people who at this time declare Floyd Mayweather an all time Great create the impresson That I support their arguement? That seems more than abit contradictionary, I would think that would be a quite obvious fact, but sometimes people in this forum like to overlook the overtly obvious, facts and logic.

I'd hardly call quoting the impressiveness of PBF's resume arguing against his all time greatness.

Have another read of your post and tell me what I was overlooking.

I said to be precise that having 15 world title fight victories in a total of 34 pro bouts was about as impressive a résumé as you can come by and nothing else. I would ask that you stop twisting and contorting what I say. I mention Mayweather's record of world title fights and in your it mind translated as declaring him as "an all time great." Quit being so f***ing bombastic and takes points for what they are.

I think the better question is, is every one else underestimating him.
