how old was manny when he started boxing?

      i agree

but those were near-prime versions of Pac

in my opinion, a prime Pac would give a prime Erik a run for his money

      and vice versa

A prime El Terrible gives Pacquiao a good war but wins via UD or late TKO.

He can't slug it out with Manny though or he loses. His technical boxing skills were always superior to a lot of other fighters and I think that's the only way he wins. Could still go either way though... Just my opinion.

One thing I wont deny is that Erik was a whole different animal in his prime. One of the fighters I truly miss watching.

Why do people start these threads. Just makes me get all emo about boxing and how much I miss the stuff I grew up on. /wrists

You already lost. You have a good night though.
MAB started young, and his apex was the 2nd Morales fight. The man fought Tapia and Kelley, and he knew his time at the elite level was over.

I know this is an old subject, but I came across this video, and I remember how smart a fighter EM used to be.

This was the last time we saw a great EM who was past his prime but still good. EM struggled with MAB, but styles make fights. EM imo would've had Pac's # had he been prime:

Morales was a certified beast, no lie.

But who says that the 126-130lbs was prime Pac? Prime Pac is either NOW or at 140lbs.

              Morales' prime was at 122lbs.

Shall we put 140lbs Pac and 122lbs Morales in the same ring?

Erik would win in 122, 126 but not in 130 lbs though. Manny has reached his peak in 2008 and reach his best division just last yr. if you apply prime for prime Erik wouldnt have anything to offer in the table to beat Manny. their first fight was a close fight. Manny was a one dimensional fighter, hadn't improved anything yet, still learning from Roach but the fight was close but Erik definitely won the fight. pound for pound Erik never reached Manny's status. so Manny will destroy Erik prime for prime.

Pac was prime the minute he unified/dominated 122 lbs... PAc is fighting lesser skilled men at higher weights now...
