Mayweather vs Cotto

The only times ive seen Mayweather take a big punch that rocked him were against zab judah (unless he was hit off balance?) and Mosley, Im not a fan of Mayweather but he could have a glass jaw and nobody would really know.

Nonsense, he didn't even go down from a perfect unseen counter from Mosley and didn't even roll his head away to decrease the impact. A glass chin would have been knocked out right there. The fact that he didn't even go down proves he has a decent chin.

It's not just a one way street. Mosley hurt Floyd more severely than he did Cotto, but there's also the Corley and Judah fights. Corley caught both with shots they didn't see, Floyd was just buzzed, and Cotto was doing the chicken dance. Floyd walked through one of Judah's uppercuts right on the chin, but Cotto had to desperately low blow Judah in retaliation for all the successful undercuts.

If we're going to use the mutual opponents method, then we also have to include Corley and Judah. This isn't a make Floyd or Cotto look bad thread.

You can not bet against Floyd Mayweather but I have always though a prime Cotto would give Floyd serious problems.

Its hard to say who has a better chin, the question really is irrelevant though...I mean how often do we see Mayweathers chin tested? Not very often, he has superb defense and doesnt have to use his chin very often..Cotto is a good boxer but gets chin checked every outing.
Mayweather beats Cotto at any point in Cottos career....
