do you think floyd loves the sport of boxing, like he is passionate about it, or does he just do it cause hes super good at it, and he gets money.. what do you think..
Do you think Floyd really loves the sport

Well he has been boxing his whole life, spent a long time in the amateurs representing the US before the got to the fame and riches. He has to love the sport to be this good and dedicated, maybe however it diminished quite a bit because he's so rich now and famous.Comment

The sport must've meant a lot to him when he was younger, but now that he's rich and shameless, he doesn't care enough about the sport to face the biggest challenge there is out there!
Instead he's become a media circus who is dragging the sport down with him!
Georges St. Pierre idolizes Manny Pacquiao, visits Manila.

this is a good question, and the only reason it is a good question is because although you'd have to be a fool to think he doesn't, the way he is recieved by the media and critics and fans, and may love money more than the sport seeing how anything he does is bashed negatively, so why not just fight for the biggest paycheck, and for his kids, the way he trains, his record, his discipline in the ring, his work ethic, his overall skill level, and compubox stat records he's broken, and is still breaking today, if that's not love, then people like pacquiao and mosley who have lost in terrible fashion must really hate the sport----
floyd trains damn near all year round, trians twice a day at times, if he's at a nightclub or dinner or wherever he may be at the time, he will get his jogging shoes on and put in some miles, no matter where he is or what time it may be---that's dedication, and love for his sport, that he was born into----he does love boxing, no doubt, just not all of the scrutiny that comes with it---which is why he says he fights for himself first, which is the smartest thing a great fighter can ever say, especially a fighter of his calibeur---he is no doubt the most skilled fighter boxing has today, yesterday, possibly ever-----that takes love of the sport----
people on here can't hold a candle to him, so for those who make claims that he doesn't love the sport, do what he has done before you continue your arguments----Comment

The day that Ellerbe stop rubbing Floyd in the corner then that's the day Floyd will stop. He's just in on it for the rub.Comment

If he ever really did clearly he doesn't now because when you love to do something you do it as often as you can and I am pretty sure if he wanted he could fight much more often.Comment
