Then the judges scorecards were blatantly biased. 2 judges clearly gave it to Burton, 92-97 & 90-99, while the one with eyes had it 98-94.

When was the last time you saw a split decision with a scorecard of 99-90??

Kotelnik vs Alexander has to be the worst this year. Mosley vs. Mora was pretty bad, but the stakes weren't as high as Kotelnik vs. Alexander. Had Kotelnik received the decision victory the entire light welterweight landscape would be different. I feel the same way about Pac vs. Marquez 2. I think Marquez should have gotten the nod, and it would have changed everything.

That was a close competetive fight, it wasn't a robbery. The only people who think it was are usually Pacquiaos mega annoying little gang of cheerleaders that pollute this forum (Along with Floyds band of circle jerkers)



I gotta agree with Famoso and say that Marquez was robbed against Pac too. You can't win 18-20 rounds out of 24 and not get a W somewhere along the line.

The most terrible robbery I have seen is Wladimir Klitschko vs Sanders.

The worst thing that can be robbed is your pride, because Sanders took the pride and the belt that night from Wladimir.

The second worst robbery I've ever seen is Vitali Klitschko vs Sanders. Vitali robbed his own little brother of the chance to redeem himself, making the first robbery (the pride robbery) even worst.

If SteelHammer accepts these as numbers 1 and 2, I'll accept Kotelnik-Alexander as the number 3 spot.

Kotelnik/Alexander was one of the worst robberies of all time. It was worse than the ones you posted.

Jesus, I'd hate to see what you think of a real robbery and not just a close fight that should have gone the other way.

One that rarely gets mentioned but that I think is as bad as I've ever seen is the Martinez/Cintron fight. Not only did it end up as a draw, when Martinez clearly won at least rounds, plus a KD, but Cintron was knocked out. He was actually counted out from a punch that somehow got changed, even after replays showed it was a perfectly clean shot that put him down for the ten count.

So, it's not often you see someone brutally robbed twice in the one fight. Incredible and very surprising that it wasn't given a lot more criticism.
