Toney should retire, he's been done a long time and is an embarrassment to boxing at the moment.

well i think its a combination of james toneys fault for going for the pay day in the ufc and him being out of the boxing ring for so long he should haved fought way more often its his own self he gots to blame as much i idolized him in his heyday its been his lack of preparation in the gym and getting fights even if it just means being active and actually fighting its his loss

I kinda agree with the IBF. Toney hasnt been relevant at heavyweight in years. He doesnt deserve a title shot. However, I would've liked to have seen this fight for some strange reason. Possibly just seeing Toney try to get under Wlad's skin, except unlike Haye, he'd actually show up on fight night.

Toney should have never been mentioned as a candidate in the first place

The IBF is unlikely to prevent a fight with Welliver or Chisora, since Chauncey is currently ranked by the WBO and Derek will replace Sexton in the new WBO ranking coming out this Friday.

I don't care about his inactivity, he's a better pick than Chisora any day. Plus, maybe Wlad can beat Toney into retirement where he belongs.

I would have preferred Wlad vs. Toney.
