I'm basing it on the style he used against Diaz and comparing the Ndou fights. He couldn't use it against Khan because Amir is too tall and fast to try and jab and counter punch from the outside.

Kotelnik and Urango don't have those dimensions. Khan adopted the style Malignaggi uses to basically shutout Kotelnik. Urango is a one dimensional pressure fighter that can be outboxed.

That's the only way he'd lose against them, if the judges felt as if his punches weren't effective enough. You can see that he's comfortable throwing different punches and combinations after leaving McCurse.

Dude basically coerced him to stop moving and just try to box flat footed. He could've been more competitive against Hatton if it weren't for that.

He doesn't use it because it is probably broken. He broke his hands and that is why he doesn't use that right hand a lot. Paulie is a left jab and counter left hook fighter.
