Based on defending against opposition that weren't even ranked in the top 10 at 168 at the time? Okay, fair enough.

The reason it didn't happen was because Roy Jones chickened out of fighting Benn, he was Benn's mandatory at the time and had a chance to fight for the WBC title. But Jones backed out. Benn V Jones at that time had fight of the century written all over it and Jones backed out.
After winning the vacant WBO middleweight title (vacated by Eubank), McClellan had five super-middleweight wins in a row and was now Eubank's mandatory.

well saying jones ducked them is crazy, maybe he didnt get the money he wanted or something like that to take fights like that. but anyway he would have beaten mcclellan eubank and benn. theyre all very good fighters i like them all, but none of them had the skills like roy to even be competitve with him. benn got hit way to much by nobodys so jones would have murdered him with how fast and accurate he is. eubank was a skilled fighter but not as good as jones at anything he did. mcclellan had a lot of power but again jones would have just beat them all to the punch but they would have been very interesting fights for sure. i wished they would have happened, i wouldnt have seen them cause i wasnt in to boxing at that time for some dumb ass reason but anyway i definitely would have seen them by now with all the fights ive got. but i think joens would have koed them all, maybe besides eubank. benn had a very questionable chin and not a good defense, eubank had a decent defense and he had a good chin, and mcclellan took a lot in the benn fight but jones would have hit him so much more and i think roy at middle or super middle hits harder than all of them

again if there was he would have been penalized. thereis no grey area in this department and steroid use in a physical sport in boxing is not tolerated. when vargas juiced he could have killed oscar dela hoya...these are the type of things they think about.

JUY, i know you hate jones. i know you hate jones with such a passion you go out of your way to post so much about him and at the same time cheerlead for your favorite british fighters. but i would really be interested in you having some thoughts about boxing (outside the world of britain and jones)...show us you're the experienced amateur you claim to be by just steering away from your most favorite subjects, instead of portraying yourself as some angry man behind a keyboard lol

John Ruiz....The biggest bum in the past decade that held a heavyweight title...

              Correct me if I'm wrong..

When that was first talked about he was going to face Buster Douglas...Ruiz would kill Douglas, that statement is garbage.

Goes without saying that 43 year Old Buster Douglas and John Ruiz are Caliber A menaces.

well there would have been good points to fight all of them no where did i say he shouldnt even fight them so quit mking **** up. tell me how these guys would have beaten jones? im interested since they didnt do not one thing as well or better than him. it could be worse juyjuy could have thrown steve collins name in tot he mix as someone who could have troubled jones and that would have caused lightening to strike on him.

michael****ki just lost to 2 bums, tiozzo who lost to hill way past his prime and who jones koed with a body shot back in 98 in hills prime, and gonzalez who jones won every single round against in 2001 when he was undefeated. not saying thats why jones would have beat him but here are some reasons. jones had better power, faced much better opposition, had better speed, accuracy, defense, footwork, overall skills you name it he did it better than that *** dariusz who refused to comne here to fight jones for all the belts. claiming he had the WBO the least respected belt of the 4 so jones could go to him in gay germany. yeah that made sense, to where jones could have broke his hand and had to go the distance to where if he would have knocked him down 3 times a round jones would have been screwed.

it's amazing how jones haters tend to forget this part everytime they bring up 'the tiger'. but to be fair i think dariuz would have given roy some trouble...roy would have been very cautious cuz Dariuz was a hard hitting pressure fighter. to me i think both are to blame for the fight not happening. dariuz never fought outside of europe, roy never fought outside of the U.S.
