Valuev is having surgery in October and will not fight until the spring of 2011 at the earliest.
Any news on when Boytsov is expected to return?....

I think id enjoy Chisora getting KFTO but I'd rather he waited 12 months minamum to make it slightly more competitive.

Any decent CWs available who could step up to HW? None of thos match ups are appealing tbh.

He was supposed to fight again by late October, but his useless promoter Peter Kohl may keep him on the "shelf" like Don King does sometimes. Kohl had Dimitrenko inactive for over a year.

There's no guarantee that Chisora will ever get another shot at Wlad. He should take the shot, give it his best and collect da check....

If i was Chisora i would take it, but as a spectator he just is no where near ready (he wont ever be imo - but he will get better)

Yeah, that guy is ****ing useless. Boytsov could develop into a great fighter, if he stays busy and fights good opponents. Same with Dimitrenko, he got the size, decent skills but he doesn't fight nearly enough. Some of these young fighters should take the lead from Adamek and stay busy, and sharp, by fighting 4 times a year.

Also, I've always wondered about these fighters who stay inactive for long periods of time; how do they make a living? If they're not fighting, they are not getting paid, right? I know that some of these guys make $$ sparring, but that can't be nearly enough. It just doesn't make sense to me, financially...

Well, Toney is out as a potential opponent now, since the IBF will not approve him.

That leaves three: Gomez, Chisora and Welliver.

There are reportd in Germany today that Wladimir is now in discussions with Alexander Dimitrenko.

So Toney out, Dimitrenko in as a possibility.

He would be not a bad choice. Too bad his useless promoter Peter Kohl kept him inactive for so long after the Chambers fight, but he at least is coming off a win.
