Comments Thread For: Source: Bradley vs Alexander Moves Closer To a Deal

The very anticipated junior welterweight unification between WBC/IBF champion Devon Alexander and WBO king Timothy Bradley - has moved one step closer. Alexander and his manager/trainer Kevin Cunningham reached a deal with their promoter Don King several weeks ago. However, Bradley and his manager Cameron Dunkin were having issues reaching a deal with their promoter, Gary Shaw.

"The very anticipated junior welterweight unification"

No, not really. It isn't anticipated as much anymore after Devon lost to Kotelnik.

The word "very" should be left out. It should just say: "The anticipated junior welterweight unification"

I think Bradely will out hustle Alexander for the UD.

It's set for January 29th. So this will definitely not be the best Jr welterweight fight of this year. That will go to Khan-Maidana.

Yesterday I saw on Alexander's facebook page that he is officially fighting Bradley on January 29th...case closed...this fight is gonna be so boring I dunno why anyone is so wet off this pitty pat fight...Khan, Maidana, and Ortiz are gonna end up being the stars and champs of 140-154...these other guys are too small but their slickness will only take them so far until they get broken down with some of the hardest punches in the division...
