Did berto avoid mike jones?

If a fighter is good in any way and the fight had a chance to be made possible, chances are Berto avoided them.

His excuse for not fighting Jones was because Jones was not well known, then I read that his team were looking at Freddy Hernandez as his next opponent if a deal with Aydin can't be reached. So yeah, I don't think he wants too much of Jones.
