    I don't get it...

How come Salvador Sanchez is regarded as the greatest featherweight of all time......but Willie Pep who was also a featherweight and regarded as maybe p4p best of all time, at least p4p top 3...

    Can someone help me out?

How come if Willie Pep was p4p best, then why wasnt he best at 126?

I don't know where you got your info. but some sites have Hamed ranked first(yeah, I can't believe it either), but Sanchez is 34th on Boxrec.com, and Pep is 2nd behind Hamed. Conventional wisdom would say that since Pep fought 250 odd times, that he should be ahead of Hamed. I don't know. Check BoxRec.com

Actually they don't...Emile Griffith is ranked 31 all-time for welterweights. I should know..that's my division of study. Trinidad is not even in the Top 150(obviously their mistake) and they have Zab at #106 and Sharmba Mitchell at #127(yeah right) They are not that reliable, but alll these rankings are objective and based on opinion. We don't know what parameters they utilize to measure who's where and how. So we just roll with them.

yeah. They also have Steve Collins ranked as the best super-middleweight of all time, as well as Thomas Hearns as the best Cruiserweight. LOL.

Worthless rankings I think in part due to computer technical difficulty.

Boxing Rec rankings arent based on opinion (or are you talking about ours?). Theyre based strictly on formulation of weighted statistics...
