Haye signed both contracts, with both brothers, yet they were supposely bad contracts, however he signed them, then backed out

if someone gave you a "slave contract" would you sign it, back out and then accuse the contract of beign bad... no you wouldn't

haye is a duck and a fraud...
Well, he backed out of the first fight due to Setanta collapsing (who were broadcasting the fight in the UK), can't blame him for pulling out if he wasn't going to have a home TV audience as well as losing on out on a fair wedge of cash.

He signed the contract because he had no other alternative, even if they were bad contracts he wasn't going to get any better because he didn't bring much to the table.

He's in a better position now, 'cause he's a belt holder and a bigger name, a much bigger name, especially here in the UK.

That said, his reasons for not signing a contract with Wlad this time is ridiculous. He admitted that there were no rematch clauses, the only reason he didn't sign is because Wlad had a small portion of money from TV rights he wasn't willing to share, so Haye wasn't getting 50/50.
But Haye doesn't deserve 50/50, Wlad is the more established heavyweight, he's the man to beat so even if the loss of money resulted in Haye getting 40% it's still a lot more than he would have got in their bout in 2009.

Haye is either greedy and believes he deserves the same as Wlad or he is outright ducking, either way he's wrong and has severely damaged his reputation.

Like I said, I never doubted Haye's sincerity in fighting the Klits when he first arrived in the heavyweight division, because he wanted to fast track to a fight with them. But now he's got a belt he's got a false sense of what he deserves and how good he is. Granted, his belt and his increase and fanbase and popularity puts him in a stronger position to negotiate so he doesn't have to accept "slave contracts", but the deal he turned down recently was very fair to Haye.

I was very excited by Hayes spiel when he talked about "shaking" up the heavyweight division. Now he can just fook-off tbh. If he retired and became a supermarket shelf stacker; I wouldn't noticed he'd gone from the boxing scene. He went so quiet (like he could rest on his laurels ) after his points decision over Valuev. (LOL) He just turned out to be a "Media darling". The **** would turn up to the opening of an envelope. What a let down and a pu$$y tbh.
