Sadly I think that all of the fighters people accuse him of a ducking...he would have actually beat them EASILY by UD but he kinda tarnished his own legacy by not fight Margarito and Cotto years ago and shutting the critics up and now people will continue to use that as his "FLAW" since he doesn't have much or any Flaws in the ring, but for a stylistic standpoint he would have destroyed BOTH IMO

as for Pacquiao, again from a stylistic standpoint yes Mayweather is at a big advantage against Pacquiao no matter if people want to admit it or not, Mayweather is a MATCH UP NIGHTMARE in that ring, first problem you have is actually finding Sparring Partners that can actually do at least HALF of what Mayweather can do in the ring and that is almost IMPOSSIBLE, it is not a coincidence that the same people who bash Mayweather ALL THE TIME are the same people that then turn around and say they would "PICK MAYWEATHER TO WIN" if he and Pacquiao fights, beyond the stuff out of the ring and all the negative **** written about the guy, it is not a Reporter or Writer the cover boxing that can deny that man's one of kind SKILLS in the ring

and of course he is afraid of losing because he brags about being Undefeated ALL THE TIME so yeah he is afraid of losing...he SHOULD BE!

Ha ha this is the same guy who if don king didn't ***** slap him out of his lane would be co promoting floyd and trying to convince everyone how great he is.....of course floyd is scared of loosing and so are the rest of these so called top fighters not named floyd but who duck thier comp just as much. There are tons of great fights out there to be made and none of them are.....floyd ain't the only one, and pac is no better fighting anyone he can find sitting around top ranks gym and usually out of thier weight class and now against a guy who shouldn't even be fighting in the first place.

The reason he fears losing is because he's built himself up so much. His whole persona is built upon not losing so he has a lot to lose - that's why he fights safe.

If De La Hoya had to guess, the fight will happen early next year.

I love how the editors on this site twist things around to make it sound the way they want. Ninety percent of this story is about Oscar saying the Mayweather-Pac fight will happen in the first quarter of next year. Yet, the genius editor who edited this story or the writer pulled one sentence from the bottom of the story that places Mayweather in a negative light and use it as the headline.

This is the equivalent of Nebraska beating a team (Temple, just as an example) 65-7 with Temple's only touchdown coming on a 35 yard run by Joe Blow (example) in the last three minutes of the game when the Nebraska's third string is in the game. Yet, instead of writing a headline saying, "Nebraska Destroys Temple" or "Nebraska Stomps Temple", the editor writes a headline saying, "Joe Blow Runs Over Nebraska."

The bias against Mayweather by boxing writers is both sad and disgusting.

Simple question to Delaquitter, who was easier to hit Pac or Mayweather?
Another question who tagged you more in those fights Pac or Mayweather?

If its so damn easy anyone in their right mind would jump on it and go laughing to the bank saying "I TOLD YOU SO".. but for some reason it just doesnt seem that easy for Floyd....

Ill say it again, level of competition in the last 3 year - 4 years..
Pac has fought bigger tougher fighters

Floyd smaller fighters older fighters and lets not forget the 1 1/2 lay off which isnt in Floyds favor..

All fighters slow down come age and Floyd isnt making his stock raise by sitting out any longer, being a part time fighter, and not stayin active..
