Murray wouldn't last 5 rounds with Khan, he's just to quick and skilled for him.

Excellent move by Murray not moving up to fight Ortiz, it would have been a pretty good scrap for the fans but not for him. I like him staying at this weight there are a few good fights out for him...Id like to see him in there with Rios, that would great...not sure if hes ready to face the winner of Marquez vs Kats but if thats what he wants to do then more power to him. Im a Marquez fan and I would personally love to see Marquez make another defense of his belts agaisnt Murray...K.O.Comment

Yep, once I clean out the lightweight division I'm gonna.....If the opportunity presents itself, unbeaten lightweight John Murray is ready to move up in weight for a domestic mega-bout with WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan. Murray, ranked at number three by the WBC, would like to get a fight with the champion Humberto Soto. Another priority is the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez-Michael Katsidis, taking place on November 27 in Las Vegas.

John Murray proved in his last fight that he can't box or pressure effectively. He was getting caught clean by a light hitting journeyman, and was rocked a few times. He just isn't and will never be a world level operator. He is a European challenger at best. Khan would stop Murray in 3 rounds.Comment
