At this point in his career, he wants that 154 title as its a bigger reward for him. So he is fighting Margo to get it as that too is available. If Manny is able to beat Margo and Floyd is not available, I can see him take on someone such as a Martinez.
It's funny that Floyd fans are criticizing Manny when their fighter fought guys like Hatton and Marquez who really didn't belong at 147 let alone be considered the best 147 fighter, when they fought.
147 division was loaded with better opponents but Floyd fans thought differently because it was Floyd.Comment

Oh okay, so he can get the reward easy, that's fine. I guess the cheap 8th belt 8th division at a catch weight against a fighter he can't lose to is better than a solid win against a top guy at 154.
He can get his belt, but if he doesn't defend it against a top guy at 154, (not Cotto) than it was a cheap move and should (though it probably won't) degrade his legacy.
I like how Manny fans always assume anyone who says something about Manny is automatically a Floyd fan. I also like how they single out Floyd fans as the only obsessed fans. It's been my experience that not only r Manny's obsessed fans r far more numerous, but they r also far more sadistic.Comment
