    Athletic Boxers -V- Flat Footed

I have noticed that the more athletic boxers with super fast reflexes, Speed, Footwork and workrate for some reason tend to have weaker chins.

Prime examples would be Zab Judah and Amir Khan : Both have great speed, Reflexes, Footwork but both also dont have the best chins.

I have noticed that the Flat footed boxers tend to have naturally greater power and greater punch resistence/chin.

Prime examples here would be Marvin Hagler and Carlos Baldomir, They didnt have the kind of super sharp speed and footwork that the more athletic boxers had but they had super punching power and super punch resistance.

Before someone jumps up and says that Canelo Ko Baldomir forget that fight because Baldomir was clearly past his prime, The argument here is that the more flat footed boxers who because they flat footed can punch harder and take punchers better. The more athletic ones can punch faster and avoid punches better.

Is this down to sitting down more on shots and being flat footed allowing boxers to take more abuse than someone bouncing around the ring? Or have others noticed this in general?

More active boxers tend to walk onto shots more imo. Also, a lot of the time it's not necessarily because of the weak chin, it's because of poor balance. Naseem Hamed for example basically relied solely on power and quickness meaning when threw shots, he was way off balance and ended up being knocked down several times because of it (I.E the Kelley fight).
