    What if...

Thomas "HitMan" Hearns wins about 5-8 fights in a row, do you all think that he should get a title shot?? Since he is a crowd drawer, does he get an extra "push" for his past prowess???

if he wins more than 2 of his next fights, ill be very surprised...to say if he wins 5-8? at his age? of course a title shot would make some kind of sense.

But, think about all of the guys that have been toiling and literally "scratching and clawing" their way to the top. I know "fairness" is a lesser factor when it comes to money, but do you think that's fair?

I understand totally, but if he is in the ring fighting, and WINNING, he has to get his shot, and if he strings up about 5-8 wins, he may be in the ring fighting for a belt. Sounds crazy, but it is foreseeable.

I really don't want to to see Hearns get hurt, and his legacy tarnished...but if he stays out there, he is either going to get clobbered or win some fights. Who knows.
