Why do Freddie Roach fighters do this to themselves? Now people have something to pull up when Khan beats Maidana with ease as an excuse.

They are learn from Roach, they indirectly discredit their own fight and win Maybe someone need to let them know this.

Hatton at 140 would fight at 156 on fight night. He'd probably be walking around at 170 at eight weeks from the fight (and 185 twelve weeks out :-) )

Maidana's reputed 154 eight weeks out is fine....he'll probably fight at 154 on the night anyway, but be less "pudgy" after trading some fat for muscle in camp.

I too thought Maidana looked pudgy in the press conference photos. He's not ballooning up like Hatton though, so there should be no problem. Pretty sure he can lose 14 pounds before December 4th. Apparently Khan doesn't know that Las Vegas isn't Maidana's backyard.

Khan seems to be Doing more interviews than training for this fight, I think Khan hopes Maidana can’t make the weight. wouldn't you think Khan would just get on with training for the fight instead of talking about Maidana's problems? I still think this fight won’t happen

i hope khans chin is as strong as his mouth. khan is talking like he really wanted this fight but three weeks ago he was babbling that maidana was pricing himself out. if not for maidanas request for a purse bid this fight would of never been made. im sure khan and golden boy were none too pleased about the request of the purse bid, but funny how quickly khan and golden boy came to an agreement shortly thereafter so not to lose the december date or promotions to the fight. one thing is for sure, maidana better win by ko and not leave it to the judges or it will end like the kotelnik fight with a bullchit decision. i do see however that even though golden boy is pushing khan, i believe their true intentions is to get victor ortiz back on top. sounds crazy i know but if khan can beat maidana, which is possible, i will bet all my points a khan v ortiz matchup is next which would be huge. but lets see khans chin get past maidana first and i dont think it will
